HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
To make a booking you can contact us through our 'Contact' section or alternatively you can email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, to secure your date we require a 50% non-refundable deposit with the remainder due 30 days prior to your event.
How far in advance should I book?
We suggest to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. All dates and hire items are subject to availability.
How much does it cost to hire?
You will find hire fees under our 'Pricing' section. Hire fees range from $100 upwards.
Is there a minimum hire cost?
No, there is not a minimum hire cost.
How long is the hire period?
Generally speaking the hire period is for the duration of your event however this can vary.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes, we do deliver and install all hire items.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery fees vary depending on location as we do cover most areas. Please contact us for an accurate price.
Can we set up hire items ourselves?
No, for safety reasons we cannot allow any persons other than Name In Light's to move, pick up or install our hire items.
Where do you deliver to?
We service Byron Bay, Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Scenic Rim and Sunshine Coast areas. Additional charges may apply to some of these locations.
How long does it take to set up?
Depending on access to the set up location and how many items are being hired and other contributing factors, set up and installation can take from 1 hour upwards.
Can we use outdoors?
Most items are designed for indoor use however at our discretion we do allow their use outdoors weather permitting.
What if there is not a power outlet close to set up location?
Power outlets are to be organised and supplied by the hirer if required. Name In Lights can supply power generators if requested and at the expense of the hirer.
Do the lights on the signs get hot?
The globes that we use in our signs are LED. They do not get as hot as incandescent or halogen lights however can get up to 80 Degrees Celsius so we insist that no persons touch the globes, casings and/or any other electrical components of the signs. Children must be supervised in the presence of signs. The signs are to be used strictly as visual aids only.
Can we add floral arrangements and/or other adornments to hire items?
Yes, you may add decorations under the assurance that they will not scratch or damage hired items. Adhesives/sticky tapes/glues etc. are not permitted to be used on any hire items.
CAN you make custom hire items?
We can have custom items fabricated. Please contact us if you have particular requirements. Please note custom creations will incur a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Are you insured?
Yes, we hold full Public Liability Insurance as required by all venues, the details of which will be forwarded to your venue as requested.
Can we change our date?
We will do our best to accommodate you if you require a change of date however we cannot guarantee the availability of your preferred items in which case you will forfeit your deposit.
What if I need to cancel?
We are always sad to not be able to be a part of your special event however if you do need to cancel your booking you will forfeit your deposit if cancelling more than 3o days prior to your event. If you need to cancel within 30 days of your event you will unfortunately forfeit all monies paid as per our terms and conditions.
